Bubble Bobble

If we were to tell you that we found the inspiration behind this design from a computer game, what would you say? Soap bubbles maybe? Both? Design has a way of playing with irony, using it and transforming what is initially a strange idea into something tangible, new, different. 

 

Light to furnish and communicate, light to reflect spaces.‎ Bubble Bobble, floor or pendant, is a lamp that looks to contemporary interiors and ironically recalls the lightness of soap bubbles.‎ Its three spheres in shaded glass of different dimensions are supported by a structure made with thin strips of metal.‎ An emotional touch with smeared touches of light that draws inspiration from the video game of the same name.‎
